Play it on Friday afternoon as you wrap up, or on the way home. It takes two or three minutes. Afterwards, write down one win from the week and one thing that can wait until Monday, then close the laptop.

Why it’s written this way
Many people end the work week by thinking about what didn’t get done, and carry it into the weekend. This loop closes the week the other way around. It starts by looking back at what went well, before the list of unfinished things gets a say.
The early notes give you credit for getting through, then find specific good things: one task finished, one coworker who helped, one thing learned. Specific gratitude tends to feel more real than general thanks, so each note asks you to picture something concrete.
The middle notes handle what didn’t go to plan, which can wait until Monday, and the small frustrations, which don’t need to come home with you. Then the loop turns toward the weekend ahead. It ends by closing the week with thanks, so the last thing you carry out of work is something good.
