Ten notes for one moment, played on repeat.

Grateful for This Home

Play it on your first night, or on a quiet evening once some of the boxes are unpacked. It takes two or three minutes. Walk through one room while it plays, and notice one thing you already like about it.

Why it’s written this way

A new home rarely feels like home on the first night. It’s full of boxes, strange sounds and unfamiliar light switches. This loop starts by saying that’s normal and that it takes time, so you don’t mistake the strangeness for a bad decision.

Then it turns to gratitude for the basics, a roof and a door that locks, which are easy to forget once life gets busy again. The next notes thank the people who helped you move and notice the new place’s light, which helps you start to see the space as yours.

The middle notes treat unpacking and the fresh start as small steps toward belonging, and let the strange noises become familiar over time. The note about your last home gives it a proper goodbye. It ends with picturing good moments to come and the place slowly starting to feel like yours.
